I have a Fridgedaire HeavyDuty Stackable washer/dryer and have noticed recently that the dryer drum is "out of round"? By this I mean that with the dryer off if I reach in to the back of the drum at the top I am able to push the drum up to where it feels centered. Or if you feel the lip of the drum at the top front side you can feel it rest against the dryer housing.

Sorry if this question has been addressed already. I just found this site and am hoping I can fix this problem myself. I am also in the process of replacing the dryer timer because the knob broke off flush with the timer housing. Found a online site and have a replacement on order. Thanks in advance for any help.

The drum bearings are shot. The bearings/glides also act as a support.
