I am trying to paint over vinyl drywall and I am wondering if this is possible if it needs to primed first and if latex paint can be used over the primer.

Ordinary latex paint peels like crazy when applied on vinyl-covered drywall. I've heard that there are primers available, but I don't personally know of any products.
