Hi,

I am going to start with a company dealing with reselling of products, I have got a client who has asked me about my backgroung and my experience in it. I am a bit confused as I am newly going to venture in it and have no experience. What do I do while making up my profile. Shall I tell him that I was dealing with some software products before or tell him that I am new into it. I some how don't want to loose the contract. Please advise

Regards,
Abhay Varma

If you are doubting yourself,
Others are going to be doubting you.
The first rule UBERRIMAE FIDEI.
This is Latin for THE UTMOST GOOD FAITH.
Abide by this rule and you will NEVER go wrong.

Experience can come in many forms:-
1) Theoretically.
2) Practically.

You must make an effort to study well what you are embarking on , plus you have to prove to yourself and others that you can do it.

You have to start somewhere!
Have a go, always tell the truth.
The person that lies has to be very clever.
It is impossible to lie and not be caught.
No ones's memory is that good.

Good luck.

When questioned, you laugh and tell them does it matter if this is the very first deal if you get them the right product at the right price.

If you don't feel you are the best the customer will tell it too
