I have a complaq PS/2 keyboard(Model no.-KB-0133).When I press @ key it shows " and # instead of forward slash.
I have changed the keyboard but it seems that the problem is with the software rather than hardware.
Please suggest how can I get my keyboard settings in the default way.

Check your Regional Setting in the Control Panel to make sure you are using the correct keyboard mapping for your location.
