Hi, I had a contractor in my home last week and we we vandalized the same day. Someone's jealous frustrations put dents all down the front of my mobil home that we are remodeling. We haven't started the outside yet and the dents are on the lower half of the tin. The contractor said to use sticky putty and it would pull it out, What is sticky putty?
Any tips on getting these dents out?

The only putty you can use for dents doesn't remove a dent by stickiness, its Bondo like auto body putty. I don't know if this will work for you and it's a lot of work because you must flatten and sand the puty before painting. It would be wise to get a price to just buy new panels and check to see if your insurance will cover this.

Just coming from left field here and depending on the dents and where it is on the ribbed area maybe this may help in some areas.

DentOut Paintless Dent Removal System (http://www.5starshine.com/info-paintless-car-dent-removal.html)
If it saves some areas in putty and paint then what the heck if it's a cheap buy. Or it may be junk never used it.

I would try knocking them out from the backside having someone holding a block of wood over the dent on the front side to help keep it solid when hitting from the back , otherwise the metal would just bounce around. That should help remove most of the dents. What you can't get out with this try using auto body filler e.g.. Bondo :)

Ok thanks for the good tips. It really is awefull but we were about to paint anyway so in the end it will be fine just "AL:OT" more hassle.
Can't believe someone would stoop so low, will be better protected for future ince"dents.
