My friend who lives in the united states North Carolina wants to obtain a passport for her daughter who is 4 years of age, her husband would never sign for a passport for her, he is not the biological father but is on the birth certificate, she is un happy and is at a loss :confused: she wants to know if there is any other way around this situation.?

Find the bio father, let him file for a DNA test to prove he is and have the other man removed from birth certificate.

Go to court and get a court order requiring him to sign.

Is she planning on leaving her husband and return to another country, if so, she would not be allowewd to as long as the legal husband objects
