Hi,
I'm having a problem with the water in my shower. Some water does come out of the shower head while about 1/2 of the water also comes out of the bath tub faucet at the same time. How can I fix this problem ?

That makes a hot, cold and a diverter. The diverter needs to be serviced and may have a bad washer or valve. Do you know how to disassemble it?

Hello Marisco,
Like Milo says you need to replace the washer at the end of the diverter stem, shut the water to the water to the shower, remove the diverter stem take it with to a plumbing supply and get the correct type washer, replace the washer and install the stem, also I would suggest to remove the hot and cold stems to and replace the washers, See the images below for info, Thanks.

OK, thank you very much for your advice. We have already replaced the washers in all 3 faucet knobs and still have the problem. Do you think maybe it's the seat that needs to be replaced ?

Seats should be replaced or reseated when you do the washer

Sorry Bob, I just returned from my trip and still have jetlag, I meant you.
And yes I agree with you to replace the seats or reseated, it be easy to replace them you would need the seat wrench shown on my post #5 1st picture, or you would need to get the reseating tool, see the picture below, good luck.

When you changed the washer in the diverter, did you reinstall the diverter stem in the shower position or the tub position. Suggest you remove, turn the stem all the way counter clockwise and reinstall.
