Hi All, I wonder if anyone can help here, my sisters PC a Phillips Iqon, after shutting down it starts up again within 1 or 2 minutes, so she has to turn it off at the power switch at the rear. Any suggestions welcome, Thanks a Lot. Dinnymurf.

I had this problem before, it had to deal with "power state when power restored", set it to 'off', not 'last state' or 'on'.
If not then reset bios to default,
Changing boot order.

Hi, dinnymurf here, I want to thank Krazi for your answer I have not tried it yet, but I sounds good. I am not an expert by any means at PCs but I'm not afraid to fiddle around with them, sometimes I'm lucky. I don't even know how to access the BIOS but I'm sure ill find it, Again thanks to Krazi from California, by the way what's the weather like at now? Pissing here in Ireland as usual. Will let you know how I get on, she has this problem a couple of Yrs now. Bye for now.

Hi Krazi, Thanks for reply, your making me envious hearing about the that Craze weather where your at, Is that yourself in the avatar box ? You look like a bit of a biker are you ? Where in California are you, another question, I hope you don't mind me asking those questions, its just amazing to be able to communicate with someone so far away, I love the sun try to get away to it every chance I get, there's a guy near me here in a café and he's from San Diego, I think that's in California is it. I would say you are a fairly good expert at the PC. I have another question or 2 to ask again on the site soon, Hope to hear from you again soon Krazi, Cheers for now. Bye. Dinnymurf.
