I am Neya. I have a question about VISA Application. My husband has received a condition offer to study Ph.D. course in 3 October 2009, But he need to take a pre-sessional course for 2 months (3 August 2009-28 September 2009) to get an unconditional offer. In this case, can I have a student dependent visa?

And
After he finish the pre-session course, he is going to study the PhD course for 4 years and I would like to go with him.

If he could not pass his pre-sessional course, he will have to return to his home country. If you are legally married, you may apply for dependent visa once he passes his exam.

Thank you for your kindness.
Can I travel together on his pre-sessional course? Or wait until he passes his exam and continue to Ph.D. course? Because we want to go together, Could you please to suggest
What is choice to best for us?

Thank you
Neya

If you apply for the visa with him for his pre-sessional course, you will get short term visa approx 3 months which means you will have to re-apply... it is easier to apply from your home country. Two months term is not that long... he goes to school, not to the war.

Further to add to topic; How much additional funds does the dependent needs to show for getting visa?

Hi!
Sir lawanwadee,I have some questions to you regarding my application for dependent visa.

My wife is already in UK since May 2008 as a student. Her course duration will end this October 2009 and her visa will expire this December 12 2009.My questions are:

1. Can I still apply for dependent visa?
2.If I can't apply for dependent visa because of the situation, is there any alternative/way?

I already prepared my documents but this situation bothers me a lot. Hoping that you answer my queries.thanks a lot.
