I am installing a new dishwasher in a kitchen remodel in a different location. No disposal unit on sink. Wife doesn't want big holes in her new cabinets. I have a 3-4 ft crawl space under house and could go through floor over to sinks main drain line approx. 5ft away. What would be a proper setup to tap into the drain and have the dishwasher function properly? Vent necessary? Pee trap? Any help appreciated.

Yoy don't have to punch a big hole in the cabinet to drain your DW and going under the fllor's a bad idea. You need to install a high loop air gap,(see upper image) and a branch tail piece, (see image) under your sink drain to connect to. There's no vent or "P" trap necessary, The sink takes care of that.
The installation that you propose would give you all kinds of problems. Good luck, Tom

Agree with Tom 100%: it is a bad idea to run it under the floor. If you do, you will have smell coming out of your DW. I am sure your wife would not like it either.

You can drill 7/8" hole in side wall of your cabinet. It will take 5/8" hose exactly. (here, don't tell your wife :D ). Proceed as Tom said...
