I have a Goodman ac, Honeywell t-stat. t-stat has no batteries, was lite up but outside unit would'nt come on when brought down to temp.I have good voltage on the unit . I took the cover off the outside unit and there's like some kind of relay switch and when I push that in it will come on as long as I hold it .what is go on? After I reset the breaker when all of this started, I noticed the t-stat was blank and not working anymore .Any answers out there Thank You, Nick

Is this a strait ac uint or a heat pump? If your relay switch ( contactor) is not pulled in. and it works when you push it in. Then you have a probelem with 24 volt wiring. t-stat problem, control board problem, broken wire, or maybe low on freon.
