My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 6 months. We have done everything correctly including ovulation dates, mucous test's, and temperature taking and the result we still are not pregnant. I was supposed to start my period April 25 and I have not, but all my test's say I'm not pregnant. My last period was March 29th so technically I could be almost 5 weeks pregnant. I have sore and tender breast's and I noticed bloating, much more than usual and others have noticed as well.
I am not stressed anymore than normal and I hate hearing that is why my period is not coming, I have been STRAIGHT A normal 28 day cycles until this month. Does anyone have more information than the same old information I am reading online, my Doc. Believes it could be a lack of progesterone and my uterus just hasn't shed yet, but next month it should be a large period. I am going crazy not knowing... Please Help...

You could go to the doctor and get a blood test for pregnancy.

yes, a blood test will tell you for sure if the hcg hormone is present in your body. Some urine test are not sensitive enough to detect the hcg hormone is the values are low. Some sensitive test such as first response and clear blue easy can detect the hormone at very low levels.

Even if the blood test's come back negative then where is my period?

You should take this one step at a time, take the blood test first if nothing then you may want to have bloodwork done to rule out any hormone imbalance, lh, fsh, etc. Many women skip periods because of many reason's, stress, diet, weight gain/loss etc. Try not to worry too much.:)
