I recently purchased a home and am in the process of repainting. I've patched all the screw and nail holes in the walls. I want to fully sand the walls before putting on the primer since the current paint job has lots of drip marks and such.
Question 1) What grit should I use for the final prep sanding? I was planning on 120. Or should I go as high as 220 (after a 120 pass) as I have seen some articles recommend?
Question 2) After priming, should I do any scuff sanding or cleanup sanding of the primer coat? If so, what grit should I use?
Thanks
