Hello,

I have Windows XP, Home Version. My girlfriend deleted some programs and since then my web pages do not display properly and the font is LARGE.

I went to VIEW on the Internet Explorer toolbar to try and change the font but this did not work.

FYI, I am using IE 6.0.

Thanks

Dan

One obvious suggestion is inserting the operating system CD and choosing Repair. This should reinstall Explorer to its normal functioning condition. This is probably easier than re-setting defaults in Explorer, assuming that would fix it, which it might not do.

For future problems you should consider purchasing GoBack, which sells for $30. It images your hard drive as you work and can therefore quickly return it to a previous state, such as before someone deleted programs, or before you got a virus. The free pseudo-GoBack's are inadequate, get the real McKoy.

The easiest solution is to reinstall internet explorer or repair it if possible. Otherwise, you can just reinsert the operating system cd and reinstall windows. This will not delete any data as long as you choose to "update" the installation and DO NOT do a full installation.
