Hi
I'm having trouble simplifying the following equation.

(1+√5)^n where ^ is to the power of

if n=10 is there a way to express this without using a real number

(1+\sqrt{5})^{10} is a real number. It appears to be irrational, but it's real nonetheless.

(1+5^{\frac 12})^{10} is another way to write it.

You can multiply it out and get another form of the number
