Okay so one weekend I went out of town with a bunch of friends. We had a great time and told each other some personal stufff. Well my best friend said one thing that she didn't want anyone to tell. It wasn't major... I mean it wasn't life threatening but I knew it was important to her so I didn't say a word. Well at work me and another one of my friends who went on the trip also and had heard the secret were talking about it. I made a joke about it and one of my best friend who works with us overheard what I said and went and told my the best friend (that told the secret)what she heard. So after class my friend thought that I went around and told people. I didn't and even though I explained it to her and she said she forgives me I highly doubt it because she has been cold all week. What do I do.

Also; today she said she missed talking to me and she loved me (No HOMO) but she still seems angry. What to do?

You learn a lesson.

When someone tells you a secret, you don't talk about it, even as a joke.

As far as your friend you just have to give her space for awhile and let her choose to forgive you if she wants.

You broke your friend's trust. You're going to have to regain her trust, but give her time. You can't expect her to forgive you overnight.

Hopefully you learned your lesson.

Sorry, you screwed up. Depending on the depth of the secret you may have lost a friend.

I guess we all learn from our mistakes. Hope you learn from this one.
