View Full Version : Sex is not just sex

I am a 22 year old man and I think of sex in this way and I am told by many of my friends that this rare that men think in this way about sex.
It is when two people really deeply love each other and they BOTH want sex.
It is when two bodies become one with each other in a pleasurable way.
When me and my ex GF were together, we never called it "sex".
We called it "making love.
I know men that used to just look at girls/women as "sexual pleasures".
I told them that girls/women are not "sexual pleasures". Girls/women are human beings that have feelings and emotions. Now they don't see them as "sexual pleasures".
I know some girls/women that used to "sell themselves for money".
I told those girls/women that it is wrong to do that. They should only have sex with a person they know, trust and deeply love and they must exactly feel that same about them.
Now they dont "sell themselves for money".

I agree with you... but the world now is in such a situation... everywhere, you can see many people thinking of sex. Yesterday, sex. Today, sex. Tomorrow, sex again... You'll unfortunately (I'm fairly certain) that nobody will ever be able to change this completely.

Prostitutes sometimes find any other way to gain money, even if they risk their life... it's so sad..

Oops, let me rephrase that: Prostitutes sometimes don't find any other way to gain money, even if they risk their life... it's so sad..

I hate people that think of sex all day and everyday. Sex emotion and action that should only be felt with there gf/bf/wife/husband.
I pity and feel sorry for prostitutes. Because they have no self-esteem, no dignity and no respect for themselves or there body.

However, the problem is that, like I said, you can't really change the world... only try to change the people around you. You'll have to support that 'pain'.

Education is what can change things. Yet, there are many countries where such education is not available to the poor, where prostitution starts.

The prostitutes should find better work.
I have changed the people that I see about sex.
I am going to make sure that what I said to them stays in there head and make sure it didn't just go in 1 ear and out the other

Hello Jamie:

You leave the prostitutes alone. How is an old man like me going to get laid if you get rid of 'em. Hookers DO a marvelous job for society.

Excon.
U just look at girls/women as "sexual pleasures"!?
They r human beings that have feelings and emotions and should be treated like human beings that have feelings and emotions.

Those two feeling are the only feelings that have kept me going.
It will keep me going until I am dead

Depends on the mood we are in... sometimes it's making love sometimes it's just plain sex.
Both are good for different reasons :)

Jamie in a perfect world yeah that is how sex should be. But this is not a perfect world.

I assume you don't know what the rush feels like of walking into a girls room you just met. The mystery, the adrenaline, the raw passion of two strangers connecting it can be pretty intense. Basically what I am saying is don't knock if you haven't tried it.

I'm Married now there is a different type of rush. Knowing your partner knowing how to touch them just right. The connection when you see each other and don't have to say a word. It is all different.

And don't hate on hookers that is the oldest profession in the world. You don't know their situation so you can't just paint them all with one big brush.

Try to be a little more open minded about people.

How old are you Jamie?

I think that you have a fresh heartbreak from your first love, but we speak from experience and growth.

Your fairytale is nice and it is great that you remember women are not objects, but life isn't always about flowers and puppy dogs.

Continue not to treat women as objects, you will find a nice women someday, but don't talk just to drill into someone else's head that you are a nice guy. It will show on it's own.

As far as women who sell themselves, you aren't going to be able to reach out to help them on this website. They have chosen their lifestyle for their own reasons, just thank someone tonight in your prayers that you and the people close to you don't have to make that choice.

If someone wants to sell them self for sex it is their choice. And it is not just girls guys do it to. It has been done since the beginning of time.

22 years old. Why?
All I want is 99.9% of people to not have sex with just "anyone". Only with people that they know, trust, love and respect

Hey man, If people want to sell themselves for sex, they can do so. I believe if you enjoy sex that much and are really good at it, then why the hell not? I love sex, and love to have it. It is a feel good thing.

Yeah... but I see men as sexual objects. They're great for reaching things in high places, sex, and fixing my car.

And taking out the garbage.

Seriously--you can only make choices about YOUR sex life. You cannot dictate anyone ELSE'S sex life.

Sexual desires and the drive of hormones for the other sex is a natural thing, it is not a bad thing unless we use it to feel about it in a wrong way.

You see Jamie? You no one can change the world by himself. Unless there is a global want to "ban" the 'bad' sexual activities, this will remain as it is. It is good though that you think about others, and I'll encourage you to stay like so.

I really liked the comment from Synnen:

Jamie I think your confusing sex and making love.

To me sex is nothing special, it is something to just get your rocks off.

Now making love is putting body and soul into it. You feel it from the tip of your toes, to the top of your hair. It is like a rush you cannot calm down. The very touch seems to drive you insane. It feels like your bodies are connection on a spiritual level.

Now prositutes are there to serve one purpose only, sex. So don't knock their hustle because some of them make a lot of money doing what they do.

Well, that and prostitution is good for the economy. Otherwise they'd be shoplifting to pay their expenses.

If that works for you, fine. I just don't know why you are here, preaching. There are times in my personal relationships that being treated as a sexual object has been just fine with me! Other times, not so much!

It depends on the ages, the situation, why you are in that situation.

And as far as prostitutes - everyone makes life choices. I may not agree but I don't dictate how other people should live. I can't control how ANYONE else thinks, feels, acts. You can't either.

Did you post how old you are? If so, I missed it.

EDIT: I just looked. You're 22. What is your sexual experience (as long as we are all being frank and honest about it)?

No offense, but a lot of guys will say this to get in a woman's pants.
I personally don't support hookers, but I'm not going to make a life choice for them. Many people hate the fact that I tattoo and pierce, but I'm never going to stop it.
Making love is a very special event that can only happen with someone you love.
Lust, on the other hand, is a good rush and feels great. I wouldn't trade either.
The two of these things are very different and I consider both very healthy, if you are safe.

Fact is, most young guys think this way. I'm 19 and all of my frinds are siingle and have one night stands. I have only ever made love to one woman. If you throw it around, what is special about that part of a relationship? I would find it hard to be with someone who treats sex casually. What makes it special that she is doing it with me? Nothing.

Exactly Josh
Anybody can get a 'slut' a dime a dozen it takes a real man to be a man for his woman.

Unfortunately nowadays most girls are worse than guys. You don't even need to pay the prostitute anymore.

Just hang around bars just before closing time for a "freebie"
I've been out partying till the wee hours of the morning with no hassle from guys... hit about 4am and all the really drunk ones start hitting on you

There are no ugly men (or women) at closing time. Or so I'm told.

Know what I find offensive? When friends of my late husband make the approach to me because they "know what I need." Keep in mind - these are FRIENDS of my husband.

What I need, actually, is someone to take out the garbage and fix the garage door.

Hi Jamie,

Unfortunately sex in today's society has changed over the years.

At one time it wasn't openly discussed as it is now, but something kept private behind closed doors.

You are very young and you are absolutely correct in what you think about sex, sadly life doesn't always pan out the way we want, this is where some people use sex as a way to provide an income for their family.

Without knowing their personal circumstances it is not fair to judge... it could mean the difference of putting food in their babies mouths or simply going hungry.

There is the argument that some men need to visit these girls because they are disabled or have some kind of disfigurement, who would not normally have any chance of getting or having a normal sexual relationship, therefore in my opinion need the service( for want of a better phrase) that these girls provide, all be it for a charge... but it's their job and that is how they treat it.

However I do think there should be mandatory health checks on these girls, not only to protect them ,but also their clients.

The practice of prostitution has existed for many years and will continue to do so.

Jamie,I hope you can keep the thoughts and opinions you hold, until you meet the girl of your dreams.
