I have Poulan pro 18.5 I really need to know the adjustment on the valves . If anyone can help that would be Great !:(

Are you sure that the engine is a Poulan? Poulan is a brand of equipment and they frequently use Briggs and Stratten engines so please check and come back with the engine number.

If it's a briggs and stratton engine, set the valves to .004 intake and exhaust. In most cases, briggs calls for them to be between .004-.006. In my own experience setting them at .004 tends to work about the best.

Without the model number on the engine I really can't say for sure.

If it is a briggs the number should be inscribed on the rocker arm cover or on a tag riveted to the top of the blower housing.
