I have a 12 HP Briggs & Stratton Model 283707, Type 0148-01, Code 92042311. This engine broke a connecting rod. I have replaced the connecting rod. New rings also and do have it timed properly but it will not start. Turns over very good but will not start acts like it is not getting gas. New plug with plenty of spark.

If you have bad gas it sometimes won't start or your fuel lines could be plugged

Checked fuel , lines and filter all good.
