I was wondering how long between delivery of kittens is normal. The pregnant stray cat in our neighborhood "adopted" us. We put her in our garage with food and water and everything on Saturday night. On Sunday morning about 9 am she had her first kitten (very quickly) and started caring for it right away. But no more kittens since then. She is acting completely normal. She's eating and sleeping, taking care of her baby and purring. She doesn't act like anythings wrong. She still lets me pet her. (she loves it) Is this normal? Her belly is still quite large. I have not felt any movement in it BUT I have NEVER felt it before either. I have tried several times before and never felt anything. Any suggestions? Thanks

Cats will sometimes have gaps up to 24 hours between kittens. But the 24 hour point is when I'd start to worry, and a trip to the vet may be in order.
It's also not too rare for cats to only have one kitten.

Just in case any one was wondering. She had her 2nd one a 130 Monday afternoon and 2 more by 5pm on Monday. All are healthy and well.
