I'm not a doctor, nor will they let me play one on T.V. But not everything that causes dizziness is related to your head. You could have lots of things, which I cannot discuss here because I am not a professional. Go see another doctor. This sounds like something that
A) is treatable.
B) until you get treated, won't go away.
If the doctor you go to, does not seem to be able to help, go to another doctor. This does sound serious, but not something that you have to rush to the E.R. for.
Besides, they probably won't help, because you might need tests that take days to get the results, and they are not going to keep you in the E.R. that long. Unless you are at Jackson Memorial in Miami, that is. :)
Please see a doctor, and let "us" know how everything is going.

Hi superchamp...

Have you been given any medication for your dizzy spells?

You post indicates to me that you could have.. vertigo

All of your symptoms are associated with this complaint.

I am a sufferer myself and have been for 6 years now.

I suggest you go back to your GP descibe your symptoms again and suggest what you think it could be.

If he also thinks this he may prescribe you a course of tablets called... STEMITAL.. these are standard issue for this problem.

If however they do not work... although I feel they will in time... he may suggest another medication called... SERC 8.. Which comes under the heading of antihistamines. These are also taken for minere's disease but are for imbalance in the ears.

You have to realise if your ears are imbalanced then your body balance will be out causing you to feel really sick, especially if you move quickly sometimes.

IT's a bit like if you suffer from car travel sickness, you can take sickness pills before you start your journey, these are called... STERGEON.. you can buy them in any chemist, they are available to any one without prescription.

On occasion I have taken them as a stand in until I have been able to pick up a prescription.

I know exactly how you feel... when I have to go to work on the early shift 6.am I have to get up 2 hours early just too be sure my head clears sufficiently to get to work.

Many times my balance has gone without warning whilst at work, bringing lots of laughs and many comments of... good night was it or a bit early for a drink etc...

The shortness of breath could be a number of things, but it could also be anxiety maybe caused by this continual imbalance which is very worrying and a chore to live with.

I am not a doctor although I have worked in this area, but I am a sufferer.

This is only my opinion for a correct diagnoses you must visit your Doctor.
