Ceiling fan with light; light works but fan does not - any ideas?

1. No power to fan (bad connecton, bad switch).
2. Fan motor burned out.
3. Remote control (?) not turning fan on?
Can you tell us what you've done to trouble-shoot it? How is it wired? Anything else?

Is it a remote fan? What make/model?
