My furnace gay said he can not install coolant into the new a/c condenser because the outside air temp had to be 75 degrees. Is that true?

As long as it is above 60 it can be done, but it is easier if it is hotter.

Most of the charging charts for the a/c system start with a ambient temperature at 60 degrees.
