I have Mac Intel,OS OX 10.4.11. Tunes 8.I use software Tubesock to transfer videos from Youtube. These videos end up in various parts of Itunes and later some of them do not transfer to my iPod touch. The parameters which I set on the Tubesock are always the same
Video for iPod(H.263) and "add to movies".It works some times but not on other occasions even though the format of the videos which were transferred to Itunes but do not transfer to my iPod is,like all others, mp4,
I also try instead of "Video for Ipod H.264" to use" Video for IPod touch" "and Video for iPod mp4" with no good results. It is of interests to mention that in the past I never had such problem
2) Is there any way to transfer all videos, regardless where they are located in my computer. To one place(Library?) in Itunes and from there to my iPod

I use VisualHub to convert videos to for iPod. Then if you open those in itunes it should just ad them to your itunes library and copy the files into it's reference folders. All you need to do then is drag and drop those video files inside the itunes application onto your iPod.

Try vixy.net

I always use it to convert YouTube video to mp4 for my iPod, it works pretty well.
