I have some strange things going on. Right now I don't have insurance so a doctor is out of the question. I attend school during the day and care for my son at night.

I have been havingn long periods since November. I had sex for the first time in October while on my period, it stopped abruptly the next day (Only 4 days typical was 5) then starting in November my periods have been 7 days, every time and a little lighter but I figured it was cause they were spread out.

Now in the past month I have felt a funny kind of flutter in my stomach all over, cramps or muscles I figure. Tonight though I got a sharp pain in my left side about the rib cage and it went around the front to the right side. It was like really weird.

Can anyone help me out... Just some advice?

I meant to say I had sex for the first time in 3 years in October and have since then.

Did you have unprotected sex? If so, you really need to first be checked for STD's and there should be free clinics in your local area. Since you are a student, your university should have a health center that provides very low cost exams for students.

Yes, I was stupid enough to have unprotected sex... I wasn't thinking at it just kind of happened.

Whether you have insurance or not. You need to see a doctor. There is ways of getting medical treatment. Search them out.

You could be pregnant.

Health departments are a great place to go if you don't have insurance.
