How do I turn acres into hectares?

Multiply by 2.471:

1 hectare in acres - Google Search (http://www.google.co.uk/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&=&q=1+hectare+in+acres&btnG=Google+Search&meta=lr%3D)

So I multiply A by 2.471 to get H. therefore I would also divide H by 2.471to get A . Thanks sooo much I apprechate it

1 acre is 1/2.471 hectares

You have to say, let the side of the square be x. Then, the diagonal will be x + 2.

By Pythagoras theorem, the diagonal to the square equals the sum of the square of the two sides of your right angled triangle.

So,

(x+2)^2 = x^2 +x^2

Now, just solve, and you'll have x, the side of your square.
