My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years now without much success. I have just recently been for tests and my gynie said that all appears okay with me and that the blood tests confirmed I was ovulating.

However every month about a week before my period is due I start to get really paranoid that I'm pregnant. I can't help it.

According to my ovulation calender I was due to ovulate on the 14/04. My husband and I had sex on the Sunday before which was the 12/04, and I did have clear, stretchy discharge which indicates that I was ovulating.

For the past few days I have had this really strange taste in my mouth and have been doing some reading and they say that a metallic taste can be noticed in early pregnancy. However I would not call it so much metallic, the best way I can descibe it is that I'm getting a cold (sometimes you taste goes a bit funny) but I'm not getting a cold as I don't feel any other cold symptoms just this funny taste that is constantly there. Im also needing the bathroom like every 30 minutes (although that could also be because I might be starting my period next week).

Can anyone just clarify for me what the "metalic" taste is like and can you experience it this early on ?

Many thanks
