I am connected with a foster parent group, we meet once a month. It was brought to my attention last night a foster parent has a 12 year old boy who has been for about a month (they just walked in and found him 2 days ago) molesting their three year old son. From what everyone is told the 12 year old has only so far been laying the three year old down on the floor and rubbing his penis from the outside of his pants. My advice as a foster parent for over 15 years is for her to tell the social worker NOW! And have him removed from the home to prevent any further harm to the 3 year old and get the 12 year old the help he needs. She says she loves her 3 year old and really wants to help this boy because she knows (without proof, but I agree) this boy has been molested in the past. Any advice for this mother. She has to think of the safety of her own child. This 12 year old need to be removed now!

You did the right thing by telling her to get the child removed. THIS way the other child is safe and the foster child gets into a home where they deal with these sorts of things, he can get the help he needs!
