We own a substance abuse facility and clients come from the court system mandated by the court to perform substance abuse evaluations and treatment. Probation officer are supposed to give clients a list of providers for the client to choose where he wants to go. Some probation offices perform are not doing that. They are referring people to friends in other treatment facilities.
Is there any state or federal entity that supervise these probation offices? Where can we go to file a complain about non ethical behavior from probation offices and probation officers?
Thank you

What proof do you have of their current practices?

Hello A:

The probation officers work for the court. Certainly, there's a head PO, but he might be corrupt too. I'd talk to the head judge... I'd have MY lawyer there too.
