Craftsman Tiller model 917 299 370 (6 HP chaindrive 13" diameter tines) over 20 yrs old - Problem: the power arm that holds the tiller assembly and encases the drive chain, is broken. Can it be welded or do I need to get a replacement? Everything else in good working condition.

Likely a good welder can fix it but if not thenuse the model number here to find a part. Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears PartsDirect | SearsPartsDirect.com (http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action)
