Is Metoprolol tab 25mg TAR the same as Metoprolo ER Tab SUC 25 mg?

I suspect it is not extended release.

Metoprolol tar is metoprolol tartarate, it is not extended release, you will need to take it twice daily to equal the once daily regemine of the er. Due to the shortage of the generic, it is either that or switch to name brand.
