Well I got my belly pierced about two months ago and everythin was fine for the first month or so now I have a painful bump on the left side of my belly piercing and its not on top of the skin but under and at times it gets real big and very painful and then it goes down doesn't even look like it's there or even hurts, when it is going down clear liquid comes out I clean twice a day and do salt water soaks I also put just a little a&d on it I just want to know what it is and is it bad... for the most part it looks good just that bump is always there and it gets big and little at times

The bump is a keloid and it does go away and it is not bad I had the same thing happen to my eyebrow ring just use betatine and dial soap on it 2 or 3 times a day for a week or 2

Obviously this was "answered quite awhile ago, but a keloid, WILL NOT GO AWAY... there fore, *amberlynn2007 isn't someone who you should take advice from. I myself, had a keloid in the past. I had to have it surgically removed, and even after it was removed, (from my ear piercing that I didn't care for correctly.. ) it ended up coming back.. slightly. Keloids are not usually painful. They are more-or-less ugly scar tissue, which forms bumps on the exterior of your skin.. if it is indeed a keloid, you would know now... because it would still be there! Might have even grown bigger!
-just needed to correct someone who shouldn't be answering questions in the first place! (amberlynn2007)
