How do I go about organizing a clothing swap meeting?

First, you need to find a venue that will allow you to do this. Many churches or community centers will allow this. Then you may want to find a few volunteers to help you set up the venue, mass market, as well as other logistics (time, tables, how are you going to organize the sizes, are people going to have their own tables or are they going to just put clothes in a pile, etc.)

Then you just need to advertise this as much as possible to get as many people there.

I mean a meeting, kind of like purse swaps or toy meetings. More familiar--tupperware meetings. That kind of thing. I didn't mean like a swap meet, sorry that was confusing.

You still need to find a venue, where in this case, it may be your own home or someone else's, and you need to figure out a way to display the merchandise (sizes, different styles, etc.), and then mass market it so that people will come.

If you're trying to sell the clothes, then you also need to figure out payment plans (cash, check, etc?), etc.

I want it to be small, just between friends. At my house.
