I remember watching this movie when I was in daycare, which was between 1992 and 1997, but I don't remember much from it. The main character is a human boy who, I think, finds a stone or crystal or something and is somehow transported to a world with puppets. The main thing that I am absolutely sure about is that his main enemy is a woman puppet and she usually has her father with her. The father is only a puppet head... that's it. No body. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Jim Henson, but it felt a little Jim Henson-y. I know for sure that is was nothing with the muppets, nor was it Labyrinth or Dark Crystal.

I just randomly remembered something else the movie; the monster puppet that was helping out the human boy was purple-ish-pink. He was shaped like Elmo or Grover are and he had fur and bumps.
