I would strongly suggest you don't give your baby ibuprofen

How old is your baby? What are the symptoms? What has your pediatrician recommended?

My baby is 13 months and has a bad cough and fever. The pediatrician said to give her Robitussin CF (1/2 teaspoon full) every six hours and to alternate Tylenol and Motrin to fight her fever. However, I recently received an e-mail that some child died of a heart attack after taking Ibprofen and Robitussin at the same time. Snopes.com has not been able to confirm that this actually happened. I was wondering if anyone else had ever heard of such a thing.

You have the correct information from your pediatrician. We use this "cocktail" frequently in the pediatric department of my hospital.

So, there's nothing wrong with taking Ibuprofen and Robitussin on the same day?
