I know this sort of question has been asked a billion times on here, but lets make it a billion and one. ;)

I am on the pill and have not missed a dose in months, although I am sexually active. My period was supposed to start 2 days ago, and so far all I've had is some on and off brown discharge. I have been abnormally gassy including burping and farting (I feel gross!) and my sense of smell seems better. I've had a bit of an upset stomach on and off for about a week.

So what do you think? Does it sound like I could be pregnant?

You could be, no form of birth control is 100% effective so there's always a chance of pregnancy.

Wait a week then, if you're period doesn't start, try a home pregnancy test using first morning urine.

Good luck.

Thanks for your response. A week is just so long to wait... *sigh*

I know it is, it's really hard, but alas, it's necessary.

You could try a test now, but chances are it wouldn't be accurate this early.

Your choice. :)

Good luck.

Sounds like a "I'm sorry to hear that" is in order.

Take care. :)

Thanks. Its good and bad. Lol We weren't planning and can't afford it right now, but when I found out I wasn't I got really upset. O well. The time wasn't right. Thanks again!

That's a normal reaction.

I had a few scares way back when, the timing was horrible, I was on the pill, the thought that I was pregnant was scary. When I did get my period I was disappointed, even though there was never a baby, I felt like I had lost one. Make sense?

When you're ready, and the timing is right (there's never a perfect time, but there is a better time) then everything will come together. :)

Everything happens for a reason. :)
