I drained my pool to install a new liner 1 week ago, and the ground water is coming in at such a rate in the deep end that I can not install the liner. I did put it in and had to take it out because I could not fill it fast enough to keep it from floating. I live in north Florida and we have had a lot of rain lately. Will the water ever stop, or is there a way I can install the liner anyway? Please help

I would hold off in the liner but my biggest worry hear is the pool lifting/floating being is "floating" in the sand pond.

Let it drain in for a bit to see how far it goes to equalize and stop within reason. This will also let you know how High the water table is there. Also exposed water will dry quicker.

Putting in liners is a pain without your situation

The person that may have a better idea or trick would be a company that install liners there and what do they do in this position.

Sorry I don't have a magic bullet here but I hope this helps a bit.

You need 6 friends and a case of brew. Have each friend grab and edge of liner and slowly lower the liner into the walls so it forms a large bowl with just the very center touching the sand. Add about 20 gallons of fresh water and re-center the liner by having the friends let more line out or in. Now they all pull the liner over the wall so you now have what looks like a bowl made from the liner. Start adding water and it will pull more liner in as it fills and it will push out your ground water.
