Hello,

I'm doing a project on the 1950's for my fashion class and I was just wondering...

What fashion was popular in the 50s, and is still popular now?

i.e. hairstyles worn by Dita Von Teese.

While we can't answer your homework questions, if you go to Google and type in 1950's fashion, you'll find a plethora of information.

For example: 1950s Fashion History 50s Glamour, Dior New Look (http://www.fashion-era.com/1950s_glamour.htm)

It isn't a homework question, it's a question I myself is asking to help to out on my project...

If it is not a school project
What is the project?

If you give us a better idea of your project we may be able to help better
I know capri's were called pedal pushers
I also noticed many girls were wearing the black and white wool checkered peacoats this winter.

No, no, it is a school project.
There are 3 parts, and part be asks me to write an essay on 50's fashion that was popular then and is also popular now.

All I need to know is, WHAT fashion was popular, because I'm having a lot of trouble finding the information myself.

Make more sense?

I think skirts from the 1950s are still popular. People also still wear flat heel shoes too. A lot of vintage dresses are also similar to fifities styles.
