Does anyone know of any good Japanese baking recipes?

I'm no Japanese cuisine expert by any means, but I think 'Japanese baking' is a contradiction in terms. Instead they rely on confectioners/candy, those little steamed moon/rice buns, and sweet bean pastes. Any 'baking' in Japan is just western baking.

Check online for 'wagashi' recipes, it's what they call it if I remember.

Japanese baking actually has a very distinctive style...
Wagashi is pretty much the only sweets the Japanese eat (very yummy though!)

Here's a site that has quite a few traditional Japanese dishes on it:
Tokyo Food Page - Japanese Cuisines (http://www.bento.com/tf-recp.html)

And this one if for a tradition Japanese Green Tea Cake which I thought sounded interesting :)

And finally, a Japanese bread made with rice flour:
