I'm trying to figure out this movie I saw like 5 years ago on ON DEMAND. This husband and wife leave their son with a babysitter and go out. A man is in the backseat and tells them that he is going to make them feel as bad as he has. He says he knows the babysitter and one call and their son is dead. He makes them do a bunch of different stuff. Like first he has them take out their life savings and than he sets it on fire and throws it out the window of the car. He makes them go to this really expensive restaurant, orders a bunch of stuff, and than gives them an hour to go and figure out how to pay for it. Towards the end he makes them drive to this house and the man tells the husband that he knows where they are because the husband has been there before and he has to tell the wife why. He tells the wife that he has been having an affair with the woman that lives there. The man hands the husband a gun and tells him that he must go inside and shoot his mistress. When he tries to shoot her, the gun is empty. When he goes back to the car, the man tells him that the woman he has been having an affair with is his wife and that this was all a setup. The wife tells the husband that she did this to show him that she can't be messed with and while it shows something that he would kill his mistress to save his son he needs to know that she won't be second. Okay it's roughly like that. It was so long ago but the movie came into my head, and I can't figure out what the name was.

Come on guys? No one has any clues at all. It's not Ransom, but something like it. It's driving me nuts.:(

Oh I saw this movie. But I can't remember the name of it either. Let me think. Do you remember who played the husband?

I haven't a clue of any of the actors. The villain reminded me of Pierce Brosman (sp) and the wife of Naomi Campbell. But it wasn't either of them. I just so happy that someone else has heard of it... doesn't help that you can't remember the name either... LOL but I was beginning to think that I imagined the whole thing and was trying to dicide if I should pitch to a production company... LOL

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU!! :p:D That's the movie. I can't believe how off I was. Obviously it wasn't 5 years ago, and it wasn't a son but a daughter but you figured it out. It was driving me nuts. I wonder though why I couldn't find it. I googled Pierce Brosnan's films. Oh well alls well that ends well... atleast if you use this site. LOL Thanks so much.
