My girlfriend has a Rheem Criterion II. The unit does not heat her home warmer than 67 degrees. I replaced the thermostat on the wall but no change. Is there something I should clean, tighten, check before I call in an expensive repair tech?

Look at the bottom door and see if there is a flashing light. And cound the flashs this will tell us what is wrong with it.
