My sixteen year old daughter has been experiencing pain in her lower right abdomen since the fall. The pain does come and go, but it is there everyday. It is brought on by movement. She is very active, so it has really interfered with her life. She had a paratubal cyst dangling off her fallopian tube, but they drained that during a laparoscopy surgery (they won't remove it because of her age and potential scarring) but the pain is still there. Actually, the doctors didn't really think that would have been the source of her pain. She has had a meckel scan, a colonoscopy and several blood tests. In addition to her gynecologist and pediatrician, she goes to a gastrointestinal doctor and an infectious disease doctor. No one has the answer. They think maybe it is irritiable bowel syndrome, only because there is nothing else. But her bowel movements are normal. The pain does not coincide with her menstruation cycle. Any suggestions or ideas would be great!

Have they checked for another cyst?
