Hello...
I.m knew on this forum but I read some questions and found some nice answers here... and gave me the ideea to try it myself... last month my laptop felt down and I broke my screen... well I replaced it.. nothing to repair there... it worked fine until 2 days ago when I desinstall some programs and after that he didn't.t want to boot any more...
I entered in safe mode... copy everything I needed an reinstal vista ultimate again...
I didn't.t encoutered any problem during the instalation...
But someone told me to check the disk maybe it has something because of the fall... so I made a check disk on C: and I saw something with bad clusters...
I really don.t know much about it so I attach the text file with the results...
Please someone tell me if it.s OK or not because my laptop is still in warranty and if is something wrong with the HDD maybe I change it
10x

When you reinstalled... did you do a CLEAN install? Meaning a full format? My guess is no. You should do a new full install including a full format.

A hard disk is magnetic media. Each small area of the disk maintains a magnetic charge that is either positive or negative. These represent the 0s and 1s of the binary numbering system.

Sometimes those areas get damaged so they magnetic properties is too weak to hold the charge. This will result in bad sectors. ChkDsk will detect those bad sectors and move the data to a good secotr, then mark the bad one so it won't be used in the future.
