I am wondering the name of a movie... it was about a man who was a cop and his dad had died. He would sit at the same desk his dad was 30 years prior and communicate with him. They would burn things into the wood. His mom was a nurse and his dad was a fireman. He talks to his dad and tells him what not to do to keep him alive.
