Do any weight lifters know about the safety and usefulness of creatine supplements? Are there any better supplements that can be used for building muscle?

I'd be amazed if there are any serious lifters out there who don't know the benefits of creatine. BB-ers are generally first in the line when a new supplement comes out, and creatine has been around for a long time.

The only thing best is just calories. Start eating lots of good quality, high protein food. Whey is excellent, but it's hard to beat eggs and chicken breast.

It all depends on how much muscle you want. If you are looking to get tone and tighten up and "cut" as they say you can't go wrong with Eileen G's advice. Lean meats and eggs (yolk free) are the best and most healthy way to go. You will notice great results but a lot of working out is required. If you want straight muscle mass there is no substitute for the weight room and help from supplements(creatine). I would suggest you determine what your goal is and look into the options from there. I practice MMA and cross fit training, and Ichoose to use all natural meats and eggs. The choice is yours.

Creatine is a very good supplement and doesn't have any bad side effects, read about it here if you want ;)
