He has broken it off at least 1/2 a dozen times, but always comes back. He also admitted he started hanging out with a girl he met through friends about 5 days before he told me he needed space. He said he didn't know what was going to happen with her since they just started hanging out. I am in complete NC with him, but is this "set-up" girl just a rebound? Will he be back?

Why would you want him back? He has broken up with you six times now? That is five times too many. Don't let there be a seventh time. End this stupid pattern of immaturity and liberate yourself from his games.

Carry on...

He can't have his cake and eat it too. Ditch the loser.

Seriously! 6 times?

Time to liberate yourself from him altogether and break the pattern! If he comes crawling back this time... why would you want him? If he actually wanted a break after meeting someone else! Don't you think you deserve better?

This is the way I would have interpreted the situation if I were in your shoes; he goes on a timely 'break' with me, so that he can feel free to hang out and what not with this new girl... "Hey! its a break I can do what I want!" and if he comes back knocking on my door... I would assume that things didn't work out with her or he got bored (whatever!) My point is; I wouldn't want him back... why should I stand there with open arms?

Continue the NC (for your sake!) and keep it that way and get him out of your system, out of your mind and find someone better... someone who deserves you... someone who won't take a break or dump you every time you turn your head...

Best of luck!

Wow, you should be done with this guy.

You shouldn't wait while he goes around experimenting with other women. You've become his backup/safety net.

It's time to move on with your life and find someone who treats you with more respect.

He will be back, sooner or later, so just wait for him, and enjoy it until he leaves again.

You must like it like that since you keep doing the same thing over and over and over and over..!

Sorry I got stuck, just like you are.
