You may want to contact one of the best lab technicians in the country - Harry Bruno at HB Dental Lab in Gulf Breeze, FL. I'm sure he would answer any of your questions and supply you with whatever instruments necessary to complete your crowns. Satisfied customer and colleague.

You mean post-op instructions for crowns? I just make sure I thoroughly remove all cement, and adjust the occlusion. Tell the patient to return if their bite feels "off", or if they get hot/cold sensitivity, or a toothache (in which case they will need endo). Also, if the occlusion is in porcelain and you suspect they are a bruxer, make them a nightguard.

You have to instruct the patient how to maintain the crowns. Proper flossing technique and show him/her how to floss UNDER the bridges if there are any. I'd recommend a power toothbrush such as an Oral B or Sonicare to help the patient protect their investment.
