Hi! My mother has had a bloody eye for almost a week. 1st it was the outer part of her eye and now it's the inner too. We just discovered something attached to her outer white of that eye. It looks gooey. Blood red. And it is attached to her eye. Is this something dangerous? Her next dr. appointment is in 2 weeks. Is this an emergency? Thank you*

Hi, your mother might be having what is called subconjunctival hemorrhage or scleral bleed.
Here's a website URL that you might look up for more information about it...
MoonDragon's Health & Wellness: Eye Disorders & Problems: Bloodshot Eyes (http://www.moondragon.org/health/disorders/eyesbloodshot.html)
While usually not an emergency, it is worth knowing what could be the possible cause, which might help to prevent further bleeding.
It is very important to avoid touching or rubbing the affected eye.
Hope this helps! (please do look up the webpage mentioned)
