Hello a:

When you got your employer ID number, you got some pamphlets from the IRS. You'll find the tax schedules in those booklets. If you DIDN'T get them, call the IRS up, and they'll send you one.

The first thing you need to do is go to IRS.Gov and download a copy of circular E. It has the rules for employers to withhold from employee wages for federal wages. Using the W-4 filled out by the employee you use the tax tables to find the amount of Federal withholding taxes.

You take out 6.2% for Fica Taxes, 1.45% for Medicare Taxes, Look at the tax tables to find the federal tax amount. There are no state income taxes in Florida.

You then go to the State Tax commisson in Florida.

Welcome to the Florida Department of Revenue web site (http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/)

You will find information on corporate taxes. You also need to pay unemployment taxes and worker's compensation premiums.

FL Dept Rev - Download Current Year Florida Tax Forms: Unemployment Tax (http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/forms/download/!unemp.html)
Unemployment taxes

Florida Division of Workers' Compensation (http://www.fldfs.com/wc/)
Worker's compensation.

You also need to pay Futa which is federal unemployment taxes.
