I had a baby at 22 weeks on feb 28(vaginal birth) and she passed away. Since then I've had on again off again bleeding. I've had intercourse so I could be pregnant. I took 3 pregnancy test and 2 came up negative and on came up positive. I also have nausea and sore breasts. This was my 5th loss in 2 and a half years so I'm kind of scared espically because of the bleeding. Its not heavy bleeding more like spotting but it turns from bright red to pink to brown back to bright red back to pink. Does anyone know what this can be??

You lost 5 pregnancies in 2-1/2 years? You need to speak to a Physician.

I have. I've been to two high risk specialist and they determined I have a incompetent cervix. I've had the cerclage twice and my bag of water went over the stich. So that's where we are stuck because the doctors can't figure out why my cerclage was still in place but the bag of water went over it. They are really confused because I'm only 27 and this has been going on since I was 24.

Yikes! Before you have some lifelong complications I think I would find another high risk pregnancy Physician. I myself have a terrible pregnancy history and I ended up having to go to another City to get some expert advice because locally no one seemed to have a clue what was going on.

I think you have to find another Physician.

I'm sorry for your losses. Unless you've been there it's hard to understand the grief.

I am so sorry to hear that you have been through so much.

Since one of the tests came up positive it would be wise to see your doctor to confirm if you are indeed pregnant. With a history of loss, and a failed cerclage, which sometimes happens, they would want to monitor things from the very beginning. If you are pregnant, you may want to discuss the option of another type of cerclage procedure. They may decide a more invasive one would be warranted.
